How do you calculate the calorie targets?

Edited

The target amount of calories is suggested by your personal daily plan. The equation only gives you an idea of how many calories you’ve consumed per day and how many were burned through exercise or any other activities.

Simply put, the target calories you see in the app is what is considered a healthy calorie intake for you to achieve your goal. The calories consumed, in turn, is what you consumed during the day and entered as 'Breakfast' and 'Lunch.' Depending on what activities you are adding, the calories burned from those exercises will also be taken into account in the equation above. If you have calories in the 'remaining' field at the end of the day, you can eat something or leave it as it is.

Under the equation, you can also see how many nutrients you’ve consumed per day.
